Hey Guys & Dolls!! I'm so excited to present this week's feature on B. Ayesha's Phenomenal Allies! I'm a big supporter of small business owners. What better way to show my support but by featuring them and helping to get their name out, right? Here's another week of awesomeness!

I'm pleased to introduce to you Crystal Carmen of Pink Stiletto Cosmetics!

B. Ayesha: What is your name?
CrystalCrystal Carmen

B. AyeshaWhat is the name of your business?

B. AyeshaHow long have you been in business (anniversary)?
Crystal4 years ago on July of 2010

B. AyeshaHow did you get started in this business?
CrystalI had a passion for makeup and a  love of science since I was a young girl. I still remember  playing in my  grandmother's  Avon overstock. I ended up blending both worlds.

B. Ayesha: What are the biggest issues for running this type of business?
Crystal: 1. Managing almost every  aspect  by myself. I am learning now to let go and delegate.
2. Happy customers really love the product and they are kind enough to share unsolicited feedback directly with me,  but they don't leave it on the reviews section on my website. I am working on this now.

B. AyeshaWhat is the future for this type of business?
CrystalCosmetics have been a staple in the United States and around the world  for so long, the future of cosmetics looks good.  Even in an economy  makeup is a low cost, feel good item.

B. AyeshaRunning your own business can become overwhelming at times. What motivates you to keep going?
CrystalThe feedback, the women who tell  me how my brand made them embrace makeup. How it has either  soothes their skin or helped prevent  breakouts. How happy they are to find products  that show up and last on their skin-tone.
My children,  watching them watch me work and try to emulate what I'm doing, or my teenage daughter  thinking of ways to create her own clothing line. Those things inspire me daily.

B. AyeshaWhat advice would you give other aspiring entrepreneurs?
CrystalWe all have to start somewhere. Do the absolute best  you can with what  you have.
If you can't afford it, learn it to the best degree you can. Google is your friend.
When things really pick up, you have  to stop thinking small and prepare for greatness. Better printed materials, logo redesign,  etc.

Don't  just give up. Reevaluate,  set a deadline and promise yourself you will work as hard as you can and invest the most you can until then. I gave myself one year. If  I didn't  make any serious sales in one year I would give it up.
